Therapy with Lizzy:
First and foremost she prioritizes safety in the therapeutic process. Joining with clients and supporting their agency in the therapy process helps create the foundation for growth and change. Lizzy utilizes an integrative approach which includes attachment-based, acceptance and commitment, exposure, and person-centered therapies. She leans heavily into polyvagal theory, especially when working with neurodivergence. No two nervous systems are the same and understanding our individual nervous system allows us to harness strengths while acknowledging and working with challenges.
